Step by step

Go to hayu.com and sign in with your account

Click your profile icon in the top right corner

Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu

Click Subscription

Click Cancel Subscription and confirm

You keep full access until the end of your current billing period

On iPhone / iPad

Open iOS Settings and tap your name at the top

Tap Subscriptions

Find hayu and tap it

Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm

Before you cancel

💡If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, or Amazon Prime Video Channels, you must cancel through those platforms — the Cancel button on the hayu website will not work for third-party subscriptions.

💡hayu focuses exclusively on reality TV content — check if your favourite shows are also available on another service (such as ITVX or Channel 4) before cancelling.

💡Your watch history and favourites are saved after cancellation. If you resubscribe later, your viewing data will be restored automatically.

💡hayu has no pause feature — cancelling is permanent until you choose to resubscribe.

What happens to your account

After cancellation

Your hayu account remains fully active until the last day of your current billing period. After that date you lose access to all content. Your profile, watch history, and favourites are retained and automatically restored if you resubscribe.

When billing stops

hayu stops billing you as soon as you confirm cancellation. You will not be charged again. There is no pro-rata refund for unused days in the current billing period.

How to reactivate

To reactivate, sign back into hayu.com and choose a subscription plan. Your watch history and favourite shows are restored automatically when you resubscribe.

Go to hayu.com and sign in with your original email and password

Click Subscribe or Start Watching on the homepage

Choose your plan (monthly subscription)

Enter or confirm your payment details

Your subscription starts immediately and your watch history and favourites are restored
